On September 22, Bath Spa University delegation—led by Vice-Chancellor John Strachan and Assistant Vice-Chancellor Ben Hughes—visited our university. Vice President Huang Jiangkun met with them.

During the visit, the delegationtoured the World Heritagecity-Quanzhou, experienced its profound historical and cultural heritage as well as its diverse and inclusive cultural atmosphere. They also visited the School of Music and Dance, interacted with faculty and students, and gained a deep understanding of the conditions for the cooperation.

Bath Spa University, located in World Heritage City Bath, is the UK’s only university with two Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) awards—for —“Creativityand Culture” and “Enterpriseand Employability”. It ranks first nationally in “Teaching Quality Assessment and Student Satisfaction”.Since the two universities established cooperation in 2021, they had maintained close cooperation, with in-depth discussions in sino-foreign cooperation in running schools and faculty-student exchange programs. This exchange positively promoted their joint application for the Musicology undergraduate Sino-foreign cooperative education program.
